ONE forecast for Tongariro Nat Park

There is now one backcountry avalanche advisory that covers Tongariro National Park. This will cover the mountains of Ruapehu, Ngauruhoe, and Tongariro itself. It is important to look at the danger level for the elevation you will be travelling in. Often the danger level above 2000m can be different from lower altitudes.
