Terms and Conditions

By signing up to receive NZ Avalanche Advisory Alpine Updates between 15 May and 30 June 2026, you will automatically go in the draw to win one of two Avalanche Skills Course prizes. Two winners will each receive either an ASC1 course with a provider of their choice up to the value of NZD $500, or reimbursement of up to NZD $500 towards their chosen ASC upon proof of payment and course confirmation. The course must be an Avalanche Skills Course, delivered by an MSC-endorsed provider and instructor, and completed by 30 November 2026.

Winners will be drawn at random after 30 June 2026 and contacted via email. Entry is open to NZ residents aged 18 years and over. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. By entering, participants agree to receive communications from the NZ Avalanche Advisory and the NZ Mountain Safety Council.
